Children’s Pastor Community Bible Church
The Community Bible Church Children’s Pastor’s mission is to influence children with the love of Jesus Christ and to help those children to passionately love Jesus and others.
Span of Ministry This Pastor oversees all ministries involving children from birth through 5th grade.
Supervision and Reporting The Pastor supervises the Nursery Director, Preschool Director, Elementary Director and any other children’s staff and volunteers and reports directly to the Administrator and ultimately to the Lead Pastor.
Qualifications 1. Has a love of God with a specific passion for children and their families. 2. Has a gift of leadership and good communication skills. 3. Is a people person. 4. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
Responsibilities 1. Oversee all children’s staff development along with the bringing in, building up and sending out of volunteers. 2. Coordinate all children’s programs with the highest level of excellence. 3. Oversee facility use for children’s programs. 4. Provide leadership for special children’s events throughout the year. 5. Develop bridges for families to enter the church through children’s based programs.
