Faith Community Church is an Evangelical Free Church located in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Waupaca is known for the beauty of its countryside and our 22 sparkling lakes, which are known as the "Chain of Lakes." The Waupaca area enjoys a service area of over 40,000 people within a 15-mile radius of the city. For years visitors from around the state as well as from our adjoining states have traveled to and vacationed in Waupaca to enjoy the area's many lakes and rivers, gorgeous scenery and small-town atmosphere.Faith Community Church is a purpose-driven ministry that has grown nearly 500% over the past 10 years and now averages over 500 people during the weekend services and is home to over 700. We have become well established in the central Wisconsin community. The momentum at FCC is real and demonstrable. Spiritually lost people are coming to know our Lord Jesus regularly at FCC. These new believers are then quickly led into a healthy, biblical, and balanced path of spiritual growth. We are committed to provide people with the opportunity to discover and use their own ministry giftedness.
A new state-of-the-art 15,500 square foot worship center and café was completed in August 2001. The existing 7,800 square foot facility supports the children's and student ministries. Preliminary planning for a 28,000 square foot children and student ministry center began in 2005.
We have intentionally been building a pastoral/program staff team that includes five Elders, a Senior Pastor, a Pastor of Maturity and Ministry, a Pastor of Worship, a Senior High Pastor and a Children's Ministry Director. Pastoral and program staff is given the freedom to develop their ministry area according to the vision God has given them. Ministry plans are not frustrated with layers of skeptical hierarchy. Creative ministry is not only accepted at Faith Community Church, it is strongly encouraged.
We are presently seeking a Children’s Ministry Director/Pastor to join our family and ministry team. The person we seek must be:
1. A team-oriented person with a huge heart for God and a desire to grow spiritually
2.A vision-caster and strategic-thinker that can help create exciting and relevant environments to engage children.
3.A good communicator with children, their parents and their volunteer teams.
4.A person who can build, train and lead volunteer teams.
5.A leader who will empower and encourage others to serve as they are gifted.
6.A person who loves children and desires to help them take their next steps toward God.
7. A positive risk-taker who likes to work hard, has fun, and creates effective ministry.
8.Committed to a long-term ministry.
