The full-time English-speaking Associate Pastor shall report to and be guided by the Senior Pastor. He must have the following requirements:
- Be an ordained Southern Baptist minister with pastoral gifts
- Speak fluent English
- A seminary degree (Masters or above) preferred
- Serve in previous church leadership positions such as Pastor or any lay leadership position within a church
- Adaptable team player
- Ability to disciple and mentor

Responsibilities include:
1. Equip the church members with God's Word for the ministries through four directions of ministry:
UPWARD - mainly worship and prayer
DOWNWARD - training and teaching
INWARD - cell group ministry
OUTWARD - outreach and mission programs
2. Work closely with the Senior Pastor to facilitate unity and harmony between the English-speaking and Chinese-speaking congregations
3. Lead and facilitate the English-speaking programs
4. Care for the members and non-members as he is able
5. Represent the church at denominational meetings
6. Officiate weddings and funerals for members and non-members as he is able
7. Maintain an official schedule, which should include preaching at least once a month
8. Serve as an encourager to the church membership
9. Maintain fellowship and cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention
10. Perform other duties assigned by the senior pastor
