Job Description:
Full time worship and College leader is newly created staff position at First Baptist Church of Los Altos (FBCLA). Currently the church offers a praise/traditional service and a contemporary service. Worship quality is key to FBCLA; we have a long tradition of excellence in worship.
FBCLA is a Conservative Baptist church that has a heart for the word of God, seeking the lost and worshiping the Lord. We are located in the heart of Silicon Valley. At this current time, the attendance for the contemporary service is ~210 to 230 people.
Essential Job Responsibilities • Provide musical and spiritual leadership and development of the instrumental and vocal elements of contemporary services • Work with the current volunteer leaders and incorporate them into your team • Lead weekly rehearsals for instrumentalists and vocalists for contemporary worship service • Work with current staff to develop song list and direction for the service • Oversee and develop all current FBCLA young adult ministries including the Bridge (Post-College age) and Oasis (college).
