Cornerstone does not provide a place for people to pursue their own personal ministerial hobbies, but a place to exercise their gifts as they fit and flow with the vision defined by the leadership. Our mode of ministry is a balanced involvement in the charismatic renewal.

RIGHTEOUSNESS: Problems of morals or ethics are not consistent with Christian life and ministry. Voilations of morality and holiness would be cause for dismissal. We believe God is concerned first with character, then with charisma.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The children's minister shall lead the Sunday morning children's church (Kingdom Warriors)and the Wednesday night children's activities.

He will coordinate, participate, and delegate what he deems wise and effective. Specific aspects include curriculum, special events and summer camps.

BUDGET: The children's minister must be in Sunday school, morning worship, evening worship, and Wednesday night service. He shall work a minimum of 10 hours during the week on a flexible schedule. This time shall be spent in lesson preparation, study, and planning.

The children's minister will be expected to take direction and submit to valid spiritual authority. At the same time, he should be a self-starter who looks for what needs to be done without constant supervision, and who has the discipline to stay with tasks until they are accomplished.

CALENDAR: The person in this position will need to do long-range planning an operate by a calendar in cooperation with the other activities of the church.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Other tasks will be assumed in various areas where the senior minister needs assistance in the total program of the church.

SALARY: The total compensation package will be $_________per year, divided in the optimal manner amoung salary, housing allowance, and professional expense account.

VACATION: Since this is a part-time position, there will be no allowance for vacation.
