Headmaster Job Description Community Christian School
The headmaster of Community Christian School is the Chief Academic Officer and reports directly to the Administrator.
Qualifications 1. Is a committed Christian. 2. Is willing to become a member of Community Bible Church. 3. Has obtained a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education or related field, and preferably a Doctorate. 4. Demonstrates leadership abilities with an emphasis on administrative competencies. 5. Has strong written and verbal skills.
Primary Responsibilities 1. Build a school that celebrates academic excellence, spiritual health, social development, and physical well-being. 2. Develop and maintain a Christian school that supports the vision and mission of Community Bible Church. 3. Directly oversee the Middle and High School operations as well as other department heads. 4. Hire staff and promote their development both spiritually and professionally. 5. Directs the selection and implementation of the curriculum.
