First Baptist Church of Coppell, Texas, is a growing body of believers whose mission is to transform lives through Jesus Christ. We are seeking a minister of worship to lead and facilitate a blended worship service to reach our church and community.

The minister of worship will oversee the planning and execution of the Sunday morning worship service; production of all church-wide special services and events; recruitment, staffing, and training of worship teams, adult choir, youth choirs, vocal and instrumental ensembles, and drama or other worship expression teams; purchase and maintenance of related musical and technical equipment.

A preferred candidate will have a degree either in music education, church music, or music fine arts and will have substantial experience in a large growing church. He must have a strong background in choral music and have proven experience leading choirs, small ensembles, and instrumental groups. A candidate must demonstrate abilities in pastoral care, team leadership, development and planning, as well as proficiency in leading worship, rehearsal techniques, technical arts oversight, and contemporary and traditional worship styles. He will take part in on-going professional growth and development opportunities. He must be a caring minister to those who participate in the groups he oversees.
