The Youth and Education Director is a full-time position. He/she directs the planning and development of programs and budgets for the Youth and Education Ministry. He/she is responsible for the direction and implementation of youth programs, school curriculums and trainings through his or her own efforts and those of other staff and volunteers. He/she sets the direction for these ministries in coordination with the Pastor, Board Members, youth and education workers and parents.A successful candidate will be able to connect and build caring relationships with youth, yet have the maturity to work effectively with parents and adult volunteers. The position requires a high level of energy, committed Christian faith and knowledge of the Bible. Experience in youth and education ministry is essential. The director must be organized and demonstrate initiative and creativity. A Bachelors degree is required. This person will be committed to understanding and working under the vision, mission statement and purposes of Filipino Bible Church.
Qualifications:
1. Strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
2. Evidence of a call, passion and enthusiasm for the youth.
3. A vision for the youth program that deepens the faith of those involved.
4. Demonstrate proficient interpersonal skills in working with youth and adult leaders.
5. Preferred experience in a youth related ministry area.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the pastor, Board Members, Elders, youth and their parents.
7. Strong communication, organizational, relational, leadership and teaching skills.
8. Ability to work with different groups and types of people.
9. Willingness to commit to the youth and education ministries for at least three years.
Base Annual Salary of $35,000
