Office ManagerStatus: Full-Time (salaried), Compensation: $32,000 - $40,000 (plus benefits) commensurate with experience & abilities.
Position Overview
This is a full-time salaried position, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The person who fills the role of the Office Manager will be a dynamic, energetic, people-person who oversees every area of the church's office operations.
Primary Job Functions
• Maintain a cheerful, organized and friendly atmosphere for all who enter the office
• Provide HR support including personnel records, track vacation and sick leave records; support the Executive Pastor with administrative duties.
• Oversee the maintenance and reporting of all church records, both electronic and hardcopy.
• Oversee the counting, deposit and recording of all church funds and serve as the primary liaison between the church and its bookkeeping vendor.
• Maintain the church master calendar.
• Oversee the production of the weekly worship bulletin, church newsletter, and media releases.
• Oversee the maintenance and care of all church-owned office equipment.
• Oversee the purchase of all office supplies in accordance with the approved budget and current cash flow.
• Collect all timecards and submit them to payroll provider in a timely manner.
• Enter all donor information into the church's database and maintain the confidential record of giving for all donors.
• Work with the Treasurer to distribute confidential records of giving to each donor no later than January 31st of each year or when requested by the specific donor.
• Ensure that the information for the Information Table is updated and accurate each week.
• Write and sign checks as needed with proper authorization and approval.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records of all written checks and ensure proper authorization of all expense receipts.
Secondary Job Functions
• Be available during non-office hours to assist with ministry events when necessary.

• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess strong computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Must be decisive and demonstrate sound judgment in decision making.
• Must be able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Must possess basic bookkeeping knowledge and skills.
• Must possess a teachable spirit.
• Five (5) years office administration/secretarial experience
Desired Skills/Abilities
• Basic understanding of the use and application of information technology resources such as internet, email, voice mail, and computer networks, etc.
