Position Title: Director of Production Services
Reports To: Executive Administrator

Principal Function
The Director of Production Services is responsible for the design, development and operation of all Chapel audio/video systems.
Qualifications for the Position
Proven skills in the technical aspects of programming (sound, lighting, broadcast, set design). Possess skills in managing multiple tasks and coordinating ministry teams and vendors. Moderate computer skills required. A/V experience in a 1,500 + seat church auditorium considered optimum. Undergraduate degree in audio/video engineering required.
Specific List of Responsibilities
·Supervise all sound, lighting and video technicians.
·Maintain and coordinate schedules for the sound, lighting and video technicians.
·Coordinate the technical logistics for services and events.
·Create the technical programming sheets for the technicians.
·Responsible for the recruiting and training of sound, lighting and video operators.
·Responsible for all visual projections ( prelude slides, worship songs, video segments, etc.) including video editing process.
·Responsible for all Sanctuary A/V requirements along with all A/V ministry needs throughout the facility.
·Maintain all equipment (sound, lighting, cameras, tape duplicators) in good working order. Maintain preventative maintenance records on all equipment.
·Supervise and coordinate the activities and team members of the media center ministry.
·Supervise the promotion of the media center ministry.
·Order materials and maintain adequate inventory of supplies for the media ministry.
·Supervise and coordinate all vendors in their work on Chapel audio/video equipment.
·Lead the Audio/Visual Team in the formation of an A/V ministry plan and annual budget to be recommended to the Administrative Committee.
·Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Administrator.
Other general responsibilities:
a.Cooperate with the Senior Minister, Board of Elders and other staff members in promoting the entire ministry plan of Williamsburg Community Chapel.
b.Utilize the services of the secretarial and facilities staff, which are consistent with their Position Descriptions.
c.Supply articles on a periodical basis for use in Williamsburg Community Chapel publications relating to your responsible area of ministry.
d.Give full support to the Unified General Operating Budget of Williamsburg Community Chapel and avoid soliciting or expending funds not previously authorized.
e.Serve as an effective staff liaison to assigned Ministry Teams and/or Standing Committees.
