The Vineyard Community Church, a non-denominational church of approximately 5000 in the northern area of Cincinnati, is currently seeking a Teaching Pastor. In this role, this individual will report to the Senior Pastor (SP) and will assume the following responsibilities:

• Speaking responsibility for Celebration messages 25-35% of weekends;
• Assist SP in bringing the organization to a high and sustained standard of spiritual maturity;
• Assist SP with Celebration content and series development in ways that are practical, relevant, and understandable to a diverse group of people;
• Assist SP in vision-casting and clear, passionate, powerful and creative communication of vision, mission, and values;
• Collaborate with Teaching Team & Celebrations in planning/developing weekend messages;
• Teach Bible literacy/discipleship series and special meetings as required;
• Develop volunteer teaching/preaching resource team for content/messages;
• Assist SP in the annual development of goals and objectives of the teaching team and assigned ministries within the strategic plan and budget approved by the Board;
• Develop and manage the performance of Ministry Area(s) as assigned by Senior Pastor.

Qualifications include:
• A passion for God’s Word and a desire to providing inspired, challenging and integral Biblical teaching;
• Spiritual gifts in the area of teaching and leadership;
• Skilled and experienced in managing staff and/or volunteers;
• Divinity degree and Masters Level work in church/organizational leadership preferred.
• Minimum of 5 (five) years pastoral teaching experience in a large (500+) outward focused church;
