Trinity Presbyterian Church, an active, growing congregation of 400 in Camarillo, California is seeking a Director of Music Ministries to creatively lead the various music programs currently in place at Trinity, and to imaginatively explore new avenues for the many spirit-filled singers and instrumentalists within the congregation and the community at large.

Trinity has two services, a contemporary service with a Praise Team, and a traditional service with choir and organ. We also have an active three-octave hand bell choir. The Director will lead the two choirs, supervise the pianist/organist, collaborate with the Praise Team and be involved in the overall planning of worship at Trinity.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• A commitment to Christ and the life of the church
• A degree in music with strong choral training, choral and orchestral directing experience, and proficiency in keyboard skills
• A broad repertoire of choral and instrumental music, and a knowledge and appreciation of contemporary worship music
• A record of success at leading others and nurturing relationships
• Organizational and motivational skills and ability to be a team player
• Basic office computer skills
• Sufficient knowledge to interface with multimedia personnel and equipment.

Position Status: Part time (approx. 20 hours a week)
Compensation: Salary (commensurate with experience and education) plus benefits. (Relocation expenses will not be covered.)
