Lufkin First Assembly, a dynamic and growing church of 1400 in Lufkin, Texas, seeks a passionate, self-motivated, Spirit-filled individual to serve as our full-time College/Young Adult Pastor and Master’s Commission Director. He/She will need to be a strong servant-leader and possess healthy leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on developing young leaders. He/she should be visionary, goal-oriented and creative in both problem solving and communication. He/she will cast and carry out a fresh vision for young adults through small groups, coordinated events, personal relationships and discipleship ministries. He/She will build and oversee an aggressive Master’s Commission ministry targeting students throughout Deep East Texas. The College/Young Adult Pastor will oversee all aspects of young adult ministry in coordination with the Student Ministries Director and Senior Pastor.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with a minimum of one year of experience in college and young adult ministry and/or church ministry; or an Associates degree with two or more years of experience in college and young adult ministry and/or church ministry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. He/she should be licensed, or eligible for licensing, with the Assemblies of God.
Compensation includes salary with housing allowance and health insurance
