Rocky Bayou Baptist Church is seeking a Worship Pastor with a pastors heart, superior musical skills, and a desire to inspire people to honor Jesus Christ through praise. This will involve directing a worship choir and leading worship for a congregation of 1,000 members. Excellence in all areas of worship ministry is a must.As Worship Pastor he will oversee:
Worship Choir (70+ members).
Orchestra
Youth Choir
Kids Choir
Drama / Movement / Mime
Audio / Video
This person must:
Have a mature growing relationship with Christ
Lead a variety of Christ-centered, God-exalting music
Lead, mentor, and provide vision for the worship ministry
Function as an integral part of the pastoral team
Develop and manage worship ministry budget
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors degree in music
2 + years of Experience in leading 40+ member choir preferred
