Job Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic full-time Youth Pastor. This salaried position will be responsible for overseeing the ministry area of youth disciple-making which focuses on grades 6-12. As Youth Pastor you will minister to the needs of teens and young adults, leading them to spiritual commitments and disciplines that will result in spiritual maturity. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing and overseeing a college-aged ministry.
QUALIFICATIONS • Has accepted Christ as their personal Savior and actively lives the reality of that relationship • A heart for youth and their spiritual lives with a clear understanding of their parental/adult relationships • 3 - 5 years leadership/youth ministry experience. • Biblically solid (undergraduate or seminary Biblical training) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Oversee the Sunday morning worship experience for youth and the weekly youth group meetings • Disciple, mentor and counsel teens and adult volunteers for ministry and leadership roles • Provide retreat, conference, camp and mission opportunities for our youth
