El Camino Baptist Church (CBA) seeks a godly man or woman to lead our media team in worship and production. We have a very excited and well developed team of 15-20 people who produce still images, video, and sound for two different adult worship services each Sunday plus Children’s Worship. In addition, members of the team rehearse with our performance groups during the week and provide media support for weddings, funerals, and special events. The Worship Media Coordinator works out the schedule of our team of volunteers and sees to it that all events are well supported. This person is the leader of a group of volunteers and needs to have the spiritual maturity and the understanding of people to be successful in this very important position. El Camino Baptist Church is a vibrant, growing congregation of about 600 with a heart for worship and for the community and culture in which we live and work. We use a 56-channel Yamaha M2500 Mixer, an Aviom in-ear monitoring system, and Sunday Plus presentation software. We take our groups to other locations for special presentations several times per year. If you are thrilled by using media to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this is the job for you.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience. 32-40 hours per week.
Job Description
Assist the Director of Worship Ministries in preparation and execution of services
Coordinate and schedule media team for worship services.
Direct operations during services
Manage production of slides and video
Train and supervise audio teams
Assign personnel to services and special events
Manage recording ministry.
Manage audio and image equipment.
Assign duties to team to realize elements of services.
Train and prepare service participants at rehearsals and before services.
Meet weekly with worship team to plan worship services.
Supervise and train audio/video team for children’s worship.
Coordinate media and computer needs with facilities manager.
Qualifications

Has the ability to read and write proficiently in English.

Has a strong knowledge of media (computers, visual image software and audio)
Is creative and flexible in worship planning and implementation.
Is organized with ability to keep accurate records.
Has the ability to manage projects and create timelines.
Formal training in electronics and media production is desired.
