Responsibilities include: music selection and preparations for two Sunday services (9am and 11am), adult choir rehearsal on Thursday evening (7pm to 9 pm), children's and handbell choirs as scheduled, attend weekly senior staff meeting, work with Worship/Music Committee, recruit and train choir members, supervise one associate music director/organist and maintain a music library. As a member of our Church community, participation and teamwork to "Cause God Joy" through music is expected. Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, be computer literate, demonstrate creativity, and be a self-starter. The Church has a Kawai grand piano in the music auditorium and a Kawai grand piano and Rogers 960 model with digital and midi organ in the sanctuary. Salary/benefits are negotiable based on education and experience and are in accordance with regional employment guidelines. Resume should include CD, video tape, or DVD if possible.
