Olivet is seeking a vibrant, called, and committed expositor to shepherd and inspire the congregation to greater service in the Kingdom,
We are a multicultural, multigenerational, and largely commuter church with both a traditional and a contemporary worship service. We have a long history of involvement in and support for missions, locally and globally.
Olivet was the first Southern Baptist church in Honolulu, and continues to provide a number of leaders to the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention and its institutions.
Prerequisites are several years of experience as a Senior Pastor in leading and discipling the staff and congregtion in ministry and worship, and a seminary degree. Demonstrated gifts in expository bible teaching, leadership, and administration are highly desirable.
