Dynamic, energetic leader with a desire for making a difference in the lives of Christian children – Journey Church in Folsom, CA is looking for you. As Interim Director of Children’s Ministry, you will:Supervise the planning and implementation of children’s programs including Sunday School, AWANA (after school program), outreach events and summer events
Oversee the Children’s Ministry portion of church-wide events and services
Help create a loving and fun atmosphere for children to learn about God and their savior, Jesus Christ
The ideal candidate will have:
Dynamic faith in Jesus Christ
Strong background in children’s ministry
Passionate, vibrant desire to serve children and young families
Christian education degree (a strong PLUS)
Children’s ministry training and experience preferred
This position begins as part-time (20 hours per week) but has the potential of becoming a full-time staff position.
