Job Description:
We are looking for a Worship Pastor to lead our congregation into the presence of God with a mixture of contemporary songs and hymns. As the Worship Pastor, you will have leadership over our worship ministry, including the vocalists, instrumentalists, sound, and media. You will lead worship in our three Sunday morning services along with our mid-week service on Wednesday evening. We are looking for someone who will work closely with our Senior Pastor and be committed to developing healthy working and personal relationships with Pastoral Staff; someone who has a heart for the Lord and a heart for worship that extends beyond his job; someone who desires and pursues excellence in a worship service, rather than performance. Leadership and organizational skills will be necessary, as well as the ability to sing and play the guitar (ability to play multiple instruments, especially keyboard, is preferred). Humility with a willingness to learn and grow is required. Most importantly, you must be called and gifted to lead people into God’s presence through worship. Cornerstone Chapel is a non-denominational church affiliated with Calvary Chapel. We are located in Northern Virginia, about 30 minutes west of Washington D.C. Our town of Leesburg is the seat of Loudoun County, the fastest growing county in the United States.
