Director of Student Ministries
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
Geneva, ILOur Parish
The mission of St. Mark's is to worship and glorify God as an orthodox community in the Anglican tradition and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through word and example. We have a vibrant, growing parish with four weekly services on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We aspire to assist all members in deepening their faith in and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through worship, music, education, and one-on-one ministries. St. Mark's is a member of the Chicago Diocese of the Episcopal Church USA and is affiliated with the American Anglican Council.
Our Student Ministries
Currently, we have an active weekly program for junior and senior high school students led by the Director of Student Ministries and lay leaders. The Pack, our junior high ministry, meets on Wednesday evenings for fun, fellowship and Bible study. The Senior High meets on Sunday evenings. Senior High students are also involved in several small groups that meet at various times during the week. The Senior High often undertakes various ministry projects and missions in our community and abroad. This summer, our junior and senior high students have volunteered their time with Vacation Bible School for our Parish children, a local homeless shelter, working at church camp, and a mission trip to Honduras.
