Calvary Community Church is seeking a full-time Director or Pastor to lead all aspects of the Worship Arts. We are located in Southern California's Westlake Village and are blessed with weekend attendance exceeding 4000 and experiencing significant growth from young men and women of the emerging generation.Calvary has a vision to enable and grow the creative culture with the application of music, arts, video, writing, and drama as a focus. To this end, we created the Director/Pastor of Worship Arts position to partner with the Senior Pastor to envision and produce programming to give life to worship experiences that lead seekers toward God and help believers to celebrate and grow in their relationship with Christ.
In order to succeed in this role, this person must have the gift of leadership, a shepherd's heart and attitude, the ability to build teams, a "teachable" spirit, ability to integrate new technologies into worship arts, and a clear calling for the local church.
The Director/Pastor of Worship Arts must understand and value diversity and how people learn, feel and experience God... then, create "moments" to reach the newly seeking and "moments" to enrich the deeply following.
Spiritual Gifts: Discernment; Shepherding; Leadership; Teaching
Team Coach: Build, deploy and lead over 500 highly gifted men and women into teams
Seasoned: Deep experience in church leadership and practical application of the worship arts
Theology: A theological conservative believing the Bible is completely God’s truth and should be followed for our faith and how we live out the purposes of God in the church
