Washington Community Fellowship (WCF), a 24-year-old multi-denominational, multi-ethnic congregation affiliated with the Mennonite Church U.S.A, is looking for an Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care. WCF operates under a congregational form of government (see www.wcfchurch.org).
The successful candidate will provide individual counseling, lead a developing lay-ministry in pastoral care, and have additional responsibilities for coordinating worship, periodic preaching, and supporting the senior pastor in various administrative duties as part of a 4-member ministerial team. Training and experience in pastoral care/counseling required, MDiv preferred. The candidate will assist the senior pastor in equipping and discipling the 350+ members/attendees of WCF in their calling in Christ and serving our neighbors on Capitol Hill.
